   Gary Weber

 Gary Weber was born in West Reading, Pa. in 1957, and grew up in nearby Sinking Spring.  He graduated from Grove City College in 1979, and  from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1982.  While in law school he served on the Moot Court Board and received the Blackburn Memorial Award in 1982.

From 1982 to 1985, Mr. Weber served as Law Clerk for the Honorable Clinton W. Smith, Judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Lycoming County.  In 1985, he joined the firm of Mitchell, Mitchell & Gray, as an associate, and later became a shareholder. 

He served as a Director of the Williamsport Area School District from 1991 to 1999.  Mr. Weber led local tax commissions charged with studying the implementation of new school tax laws in 1999 and again in 2006.

  Gary Weber served on the Executive Committee of the Lycoming Law Association between 1996 and 2004, and as its President in 2003.   He has been Chairman of the LLA's Customs and Rules Committee since 1992.  He was instrumental in rewriting the Association's by laws in 2000, and developed the Association's Web site (www.lycolaw.org) the same year.  Mr. Weber was honored with the President's Achievement Award, by the President of the LLA in January of 2001.  In 2009, his work with the Website resulted again in recognition by the Association.

Concentrating in trial work, Mr. Weber is admitted to practice in all Pennsylvania courts and has tried cases in Lycoming, Centre, Clinton, Union, Snyder, Bradford, Columbia, Potter, Sullivan, Tioga, Mifflin, Northumberland and Lackawanna Counties. He is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania and has tried cases in Federal District and Bankruptcy Courts.  He also had litigated cases with  Administrative Law Judges, representing utilities in Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission cases. Mr. Weber has represented clients in arbitrations and in appeals in Federal and State Appeals Courts.

Mr. Weber's trial practice involves representing primarily defendants in a great variety of cases, including those involving claims of medical malpractice, premises liability, product liability and automobile negligence.  Mr. Weber handles subrogation and collection work and serves as hearing officer in administrative proceedings involving school districts.

Mr. Weber and his wife Shelby reside in Williamsport with their two sons, Riley and Stefan.
